Week 1 - Session 2

 - Instructor to answer any questions re: course or assignments.

 - Class Notes - Issues to be addressed each week

-Each Participant to read completed assignments and discuss intention.

-Peer Review of Class Participant Assignments

-Each Participant is given time to critique and ask questions of the presenter.

The purpose of this exercise is for the writer to see if the reader can clearly comprehend the writer’s intention.

Lecture - Log Lines - One sentence to sell them all!

-Lectures will provide general screenwriting theory to assist you in telling your story. These are only suggestions, I want your creativity to be unhindered during this process. These are just techniques I will teach you to help your story move from one point to the next and keep your story flowing for the reader.

Assignment -

-Participants will have writing assignments to be completed by the beginning of the following class.

Our intention is to write a feature length screenplay, to do so in 40 hours, participants will be asked to produce pages per the assignment prior to each class.

 

-Assignments are very important to the class. The reading and peer review of your assignments will make up a majority of our time together.
